Privacy at Wobbleboard
A short, technical summary of what the app stores and where. This is an informational overview, not a legal contract.
Stored on your device
- Your current canvas, preferences and shape library are saved in your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB.
- Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
Stored in the cloud only when you choose to share
- Live sessions and share links: content is encrypted in your browser before upload. The decryption key is only in the link’s
#fragment. - Anonymous sign-in: to protect shared data from abuse, the app creates an anonymous account identifier when you start or open a shared board. It carries no name or email.
- Optional account: if you sign in, your name, email and photo come from your sign-in provider, and drawings you save are stored under your account.
What the app doesn’t do
It does not include advertising trackers and does not sell personal data. Operating the hosting and Firebase services may produce standard server logs such as IP addresses and request times.
