What is Wobbleboard?
Wobbleboard is a free online whiteboard for sketching diagrams, flowcharts, wireframes and ideas. Everything is drawn in a hand-drawn style, and you can collaborate with others in real time.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can open Wobbleboard and start drawing immediately. Your canvas is saved automatically in your browser. Signing in is optional and only needed to keep drawings in your account and sync your shape library across devices.
Is collaboration private?
Yes. Live sessions and shareable links are end-to-end encrypted in your browser using AES-GCM. The decryption key is stored in the part of the link after the # symbol, which browsers never send to servers, so the service cannot read your boards.
What can I export?
You can export PNG and SVG images, copy them to the clipboard, or save a .excalidraw scene file. PNG and SVG exports can optionally embed the scene so you can open them again and keep editing.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Wobbleboard is a progressive web app: install it from your browser and it keeps working without a connection. Collaboration and cloud features need to be online.
Can I open files from other whiteboard tools?
Wobbleboard reads and writes the open .excalidraw scene format, so you can open compatible files by dropping them onto the canvas or using Open from the menu.
