A flowchart maker that keeps up with your thinking

Flowcharts should take minutes, not an afternoon of aligning boxes. Draw a shape, press a key to grow the next step, and arrows stay attached as you move things around.

Draw a flowchart in four moves

  1. Press R (rectangle) or D (diamond) and drag out your first step.
  2. Double-click the shape and type its label — text is centred automatically, however big the shape is.
  3. With the shape selected, press Ctrl/⌘ + an arrow key to create the next connected step.
  4. Select all, then align and distribute so the whole flow lines up.

Connectors that behave

  • Arrows bind to shapes and re-route when you drag either end.
  • Choose sharp, curved or elbow arrows that run at right angles around shapes.
  • Put a label on any arrow for decision branches such as “yes” and “no”.
  • Use diamonds for decisions, rounded rectangles for steps and ellipses for start and end.

Share and reuse

Save common patterns to your shape library and drop them in again. Export the finished chart to SVG for docs or PNG for slides, or sketch it together in a live session.

Frequently asked questions

Does it follow flowchart standards?

It gives you the standard shapes — process, decision, terminator — and connectors, but it is a sketching tool rather than a strict notation checker.

Can I import a flowchart from text or code?

Not yet. Wobbleboard is for drawing directly; text-to-diagram import is not currently supported.

How do I keep a big flowchart tidy?

Use grid snapping, align and distribute, and wrap sections in frames so you can zoom to each part.
